On my most recent beach trip I was able to see some excellent birds. I was even lucky enough to see a behavior that I had not seen before. I saw a pair of juvenile gulls sharing a horseshoe crab with a sanderling. They were all taking turns grabbing a bite. It was fascinating to watch!
