The Lewis Gitner Botanical Garden is an estate located in Herico, Virginia. There are several areas on the grounds with different setups including a conifer garden and garden filled with water filtering plants. The Conservatory has exotic plants and is also home to their seasonal butterfly exhibit. There is a fee to enter (if you want you can become a member).
Currently, the Garden is putting on a “Big Bug” exhibit ( May 27-August 28,2022). I really enjoyed seeing the sculptures and reading how heavy they all are. I hope you get a chance to visit! I will definitely be going back!
