Prior to the pandemic I was lucky enough to take a trip to see The Vessel. I visited a few months after it had opened in Hudson Yards. At that time I was able to get a (free) ticket to climb to the top and experience the city in a new way. Sadly, a series of unfortunate events has the Vessel currently closed to the public. You can still be see the stairs from the outside but you can no longer go inside. Hopefully the issues surrounding this installation will be solved soon.
