Last week I went to Old Westbury Gardens to see their Shimmering Solstice holiday light display. The display is a self guided walking tour through the mansion’s grounds. The tickets are timed entry but you can go at your own pace once you are in. There are a few concessions where you can buy snacks and warm beverages. There is also a table selling Christmas light necklaces for kids. We spent about an hour walking along and then went to get ice cream.
