Saturday was probably the last time I will be visiting the Nature Study Area since we are moving in less than two weeks. It was actually pretty bittersweet saying goodbye to it. I have spent a lot of time exploring there and I really learned a lot. It wasn’t the prettiest day out, mostly just grays and browns along the landscape. I didn’t see anything crazy or rare. My Yellow Crowned Night Heron friends are long gone escaping the winter weather… but I think it was a perfect last visit. Thanks for the good times and maybe I will be back some day.
