I recently had a chance to visit Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. I had never seen anything like this before and it was absolutely magical. There is a reason why it was chosen as the model for the Disney Castle. I actually took a tour of the inside of the castle, but photography is not allowed inside.
The castle was designed by King Ludwig II, but he passed away before the castle was finished. Due to it’s extravagant nature, after his passing the castle was never finished. It was never lived in which makes the interior seem almost sterile. It was an interesting tour to say the least!
