Here are some photos from the Ultimate Air Dogs Competition at Riverrock. During this competition, dogs go up on a dock and jump into a pool of water. The winners are the dogs with the furthest distance. While some of the competitors are seasoned athletes, local dogs are encouraged to participate.
First timers are given practice runs before the event starts. They are also given the opportunity to climb up the out ramp and swim in the pool beforehand. This is so they can get used to being in the water before it is time to jump. Some of the dogs get incredibly excited which makes the whole contest so fun to watch! I took so many photos of these dogs, that I have to break them into three separate posts. I hope you like them!
