For my first post of the year, I have a set of photos I took on my first day hike. Every year on January 1st, I like to go hiking in a state park. It started when I was on Long Island, and I carried the tradition when we moved to Virginia.
This year we spent a few hours in Pocahontas State Park. Each year they host a series of events including orienteering and guided hikes. It is a really fun way to start off the new year. I hope you like the shots!
