Today I have a collection of hooded merganser photos for you. Mergansers are a type of small duck that like to live in areas with a lot of vegetation. I have seen them plenty of times, but find they can be hard to photograph (for me personally anyways). This pair was more cooperative than most and didn’t seem to mind me watching them! I hope you enjoy the photos I got!
