I recently went to coastal North Carolina for a long weekend with family. While I was there, my goal was to get a good picture of a pelican. I definitely managed to get some!
Most of the photos are of “Fred” the pelican. He (and his counterpart Ethel) apparently like to hang out at Surf City Crab & Seafood Market. One of the workers there saw me trying to photograph him and gave him a piece of salmon so he would pose for me!
