Today I have a set of photographs I took of some flowers at Maymont with my macro lens. I really like the amount of detail I can get with that lens. I hope you enjoy what I got!

Learning Macro Photography
I am currently in the process of learning macro photography. The lens I am using is a 105mm micro. It’s a bit of a challenge but I really like some of the images I have gotten so far! Hopefully, I will get even better with this setup!

Macro Photography – Monarch Butterfly
Over the summer tried a macro lens for the first time. It is going to take some more practice before I master macro photography but I look forward to the challenge. Here are some pictures of a very cooperative Monarch butterfly that let me use it as a model.
