On Friday, I went to the Garden Glow at Maymont. This was a spectacular lightshow strewn about the grounds of Maymont Park. It was absolutely beautiful. I hope you enjoy the photos!

Fall In RVA Pt II
This is the second part of the fall photos I took around RVA. I hope you like them!
Fall In RVA Pt I
This is my first fall in RVA. The timing has been different than it is back in New York so I have been a bit thrown off. I am thoroughly enjoying it however. The other day, I walked all around the city taking pictures along the river. I ended up taking so many that IContinue reading “Fall In RVA Pt I”
Chapel Island & Great Shiplock Park
A few weeks ago, I took a trip to Chapel Island & Great Shiplock Park in Richmond. I have written about this area before in my post about RVA’s parks. This is a fun place to spend an hour or two exploring. I hope you enjoy my most recent batch of photos from here!
Low Line Park
I recently took another trip to the Lowline Park in Richmond. This narrow park runs under a railroad and parallel to the canal. Richmond Slave Trail Pt. II

Because of that, this piece of land is actually the start ofContinue reading “Ancarrow’s Landing”

I love the fact that Richmond built itself around the river without taking too much away from it’s natural beauty. Here is another set of photosContinue reading “Around the James Again”
New Canal Walk Murals
I have posted before about the murals along the canal walk in Richmond. After 10 years, the murals along the canal walk have been replaced with new artwork! This was done last month as part of the Richmond Street Art Festival. I was lucky enough to be able to watch some of the artists workingContinue reading “New Canal Walk Murals”
Belle Isle Hydro Plant
Belle Isle is home to a rich history and several ruins. In this particular post, I want to focus on the abandoned hydro plant. The hydro plant was built during the early 1900s then eventually became obsolete and was abandoned. Today, the plant is a frequent stop for spray paint artists. Drone footage of theContinue reading “Belle Isle Hydro Plant”
