Maymont is a 100-acre estate in Richmond that has a nature center, wildlife exhibits, a farm, several gardens and a historic mansion. Richmond Slave Trail

The Richmond Slave Trail is a pedestrian path through the city that mirrors the path slaves took once they arrived in America. It starts at Ancarrow’s Landing and ends at the First African Baptist Church. Along the trail you also pass the Reconciliation Statue, Lumpkin’s Slave Jail and the African Burial Ground.
