James River Snapshots

Hazy Day In Tuckahoe

Here is a set of photos I took recently at Tuckahoe Creek Park. Even though I got there kind of early on this outing, the temperature was already in the 90s. It was so humid that some of my pictures were actually foggy from the haze in the air. I hope you like the shots!

Hiding Herons

T Potterfield Bridge

James River Osprey

The James River here in Richmond supports a large population of Osprey. For a decent portion of the year, you can see at least one anytime you are close to the water. It is always fun to watch the nests in the spring and summer while they prepare for and then raise their chicks. IContinue reading “James River Osprey”
