Byrd Park Pumphouse

The Pumphouse near Byrd Park was built in the 1880s. It pumped water to the city and was also used as an event venue. Dutch Gap Conservation Area

Dutch Gap Conservation Area is a park in Chesterfield County, Virginia. It seemed to be quite a popular park. We saw several people hiking, fishing and boating along the river. Richmond’s American Civil War Museum

Richmond was once the capital of the Confederacy. Now, it is home to a Civil War Museum. The building this museum is located in was once the Tredegar Iron Works. The building has two floors of informational displays, as well as several interactive screens. Amelia Wildlife Management Area
